On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts more than Nifty 100 and 0.7 pts more than its Oil Gas & Consumable Fuels peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Coal India informed that its wholly owned subsidiary Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) filed its IPO prospectus with the Registrar of Companies, Jharkhand at Ranchi on January 14, 2026. The IPO is an Offer for Sale of up to 46.57 crore equity shares of face value Rs 10 each, following the red herring prospectus dated January 2, 2026 and addendum dated January 7, 2026.
BCCL IPO moves closer to listing. Coal India monetises its stake via Offer for Sale, no fresh dilution for parent shareholders.
