On the reaction day the stock moved 0.5 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.5 pts less than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Promoter Jusmiral Holdings sold 34,148,000 Cohance shares on the NSE on September 18, 2025. The transaction was worth Rs 3,093.81 crore before costs, and the promoter's holding fell from 33.08% to 24.15%, a drop of 8.93 percentage points. Proceeds will mainly repay borrowings under a notes purchase agreement.
The promoter's large share sale may add near-term price pressure, while debt repayment from proceeds may reduce financing risk.
