Commercial Syn Bags Limited filed its unaudited Q1 FY26 results on August 8, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose about 19% year-on-year to Rs. 8,938 lakhs (from Rs. 7,512 lakhs), while profit after tax surged more than five-fold to Rs. 506 lakhs (from Rs. 100 lakhs). On a consolidated basis, revenue grew to Rs. 9,051 lakhs and PAT jumped to Rs. 555 lakhs (from Rs. 193 lakhs). Operating profit before depreciation and finance improved sharply, lifting PBT margins to roughly 6.8% from under 2% a year ago. The company also acquired an additional 1% stake in UK-based Smartlift Bulk Packaging, raising its holding to 50%, and made a new wholly-owned step-down subsidiary acquisition (Erawat Vegcap). Statutory auditor Ashok Kumar Agrawal & Associates issued an unqualified limited review report on both sets of results.
A standout quarter with profits growing far faster than revenue, signalling meaningful margin expansion and positive earnings momentum for shareholders. Watch points: the preferential warrant issue to promoters and the pending NHAI land acquisition dispute in the Madhya Pradesh High Court could draw investor scrutiny.
