On the reaction day the stock moved 0.7 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.3 pts more than its Capital Markets peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved subdividing each fully paid Rs 10 equity share into five fully paid Rs 2 shares, subject to shareholder approval by postal ballot. Paid-up shares will rise from 49,530,127 to 247,650,635, while paid-up capital stays at Rs 495.3 million. The record date is still to be set. Completion is expected within two months after approvals.
The split may lower the per-share price and improve retail liquidity, but does not change total shareholder value. Shareholder approval is pending.
