On the reaction day the stock moved 0.6 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.8 pts more than its Capital Markets peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
CAMS is seeking shareholder approval by postal ballot to split each fully paid Rs 10 equity share into five Rs 2 shares, with no change in total capital. Post-split issued and paid-up capital would be 24,76,50,635 shares. Remote e-voting runs from 16 October to 15 November 2025, with results due on 17 November. The board says the split aims to make the high-priced share more affordable.
After approval and a board-set record date, the share price would adjust mechanically, making it easier for retail investors to buy.
