Concord Enviro Systems has informed the exchanges about a development in the NCLT Mumbai Bench involving its material subsidiary Rochem Separation Systems (India) Private Limited (RSSPL). An operational creditor, Ketav Consultant, had filed an insolvency petition under Section 9 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) against RSSPL. The NCLT has dismissed the petition with liberty to revive, granting both parties a 60-day period from June 26, 2025 to finalise their ongoing settlement talks. Both sides confirmed that a counter-offer is under consideration. This is a continuation of a previous intimation dated January 17, 2025. The petition was not admitted, meaning insolvency proceedings have not formally commenced against RSSPL.
Positive for now — the insolvency petition against the material subsidiary was NOT admitted, providing temporary relief. However, the case can be revived if settlement talks fail within 60 days, keeping residual risk alive for shareholders of the parent company.
