Concord Enviro Systems reported weak Q3 FY26 results, swinging to a consolidated loss of Rs 81.77 million from a profit of Rs 44.91 million in the previous quarter, weighed down by a Rs 51.75 million one-time exceptional charge related to the new Labour Codes. Consolidated revenue for the quarter was broadly flat at Rs 1,245.75 million, but 9M FY26 revenue declined about 9% year-on-year to Rs 3,518.12 million, with 9M net profit collapsing to just Rs 4.33 million from Rs 43.62 million a year ago. On a standalone basis, the picture was mixed: 9M revenue grew roughly 9.5% YoY to Rs 382.36 million and PAT jumped to Rs 45.52 million (boosted by a Rs 45 million one-time reimbursement from AF Holdings), but Q3 standalone PAT slipped into a Rs 4.20 million loss. The company also confirmed the voluntary liquidation of its step-down subsidiary Blue Water Trading & Treatment (FZE), flagged as a discontinued operation, and noted that Rs 712.46 million of IPO proceeds remain unutilised and parked in bank deposits.
Shareholders should expect a negative near-term reaction given the quarterly loss, sharp fall in 9M consolidated profits, and revenue contraction at the group level, though the standalone business remains profitable on a year-to-date basis. The Labour Codes exceptional charge and discontinued subsidiary issues are one-off, and the new CFO appointment signals a focus on financial discipline and growth.
