Confidence Futuristic Energetech Ltd reported its audited results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2025. On a consolidated basis, full-year revenue from operations jumped about 42% to Rs 24,937.94 lacs (from Rs 17,590.31 lacs), driven by strong growth in the Cylinder Division which contributed Rs 24,277.92 lacs. Consolidated profit after tax (including share of associates) rose around 19% to Rs 1,009.53 lacs, with basic EPS at Rs 4.14 versus Rs 3.44 last year. However, the EBITDA margin compressed meaningfully, finance costs rose sharply to Rs 1,050 lacs, and consolidated operating cash flow turned deeply negative at Rs -6,346.93 lacs versus a positive Rs 2,754.60 lacs last year. Standalone results (essentially the LPG Division) were small, with FY revenue at Rs 660.02 lacs and PAT at Rs 281.65 lacs, but standalone borrowings jumped from Rs 429.78 lacs to Rs 2,011.99 lacs. The statutory auditors (joint auditors L N J & Associates and Koshal & Associates) issued an unmodified opinion on both the standalone and consolidated results.
Top-line growth is healthy and the bottom line improved, which is positive for shareholders. But the sharp swing to negative operating cash flow, rising borrowings, and compressing margins on the consolidated book are yellow flags that could weigh on valuation and signal working-capital or capex stress despite the clean audit report.
