Constronics Infra Ltd reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹905.36 lakhs for Q3 FY26, down sharply by about 43% from ₹1,587.12 lakhs in the same quarter last year. On a nine-month basis though, revenue grew around 27% YoY to ₹4,146.82 lakhs and net profit after tax rose about 35% to ₹285.76 lakhs. Standalone Q3 net profit fell steeply to ₹43 lakhs from ₹95.50 lakhs YoY, with diluted EPS at ₹0.28 vs ₹0.66 earlier. The statutory auditor issued a 'Qualified Conclusion', flagging ₹5.87 lakhs of cash seized by an investigating agency in a matter unrelated to the company's business for which no provision was made. The company also disclosed that it serves as corporate guarantor for an SBI term loan taken by its newly acquired subsidiary, Constronics Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd, and re-appointed M/s. GNST & Associates as internal auditor for FY25-26.
The weak sequential and YoY Q3 print, combined with the auditor's qualified opinion (even though the flagged item is small), could dampen near-term stock sentiment. Shareholders should also factor in the contingent-liability exposure from the subsidiary's SBI loan guarantee.
