Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 2,149.53 crore, up about 2.5% from Rs. 2,097.07 crore in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax came in at Rs. 257.71 crore, a marginal 0.9% rise from Rs. 255.35 crore a year ago, while profit before tax was Rs. 346.53 crore. The Board declared an interim dividend of Rs. 1.60 per equity share (32% on the Rs. 5 face value), totalling a payout of Rs. 121.86 crore, with a record date of August 13, 2025 and payment from August 24, 2025. The Board also appointed M/s Amit Agrawal & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for FY 2025-26 to FY 2029-30, subject to shareholder approval. Note that per-share figures reflect the 1:4 bonus issue already allotted on July 7, 2025, which expanded the share count to about 76.16 crore shares.
The interim dividend provides a near-term cash reward to shareholders, while flat single-digit earnings growth signals stable but sluggish business momentum. Investors should evaluate per-share metrics in light of the recent 1:4 bonus issue that has already diluted the share base.
