The original appeal was previously dismissed on monetary limit grounds following a CBDT circular from December 2015, but the department has filed a recall application and the court has now issued notice to the company. The next hearing is scheduled for 3 August 2025. The financial implication disclosed is approximately Rs. 10.62 lakh plus interest as may be determined by the court. The company has stated it is seeking legal advice and will take appropriate action.
