On the reaction day the stock moved 1.2 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Cords Cable received a GST Rectification Order from CGST, Bhiwadi, reducing the demand from ₹35.59 lakh to ₹18.31 lakh. The original order (Dec 2025) had disallowed input tax credit on purchases for FY2018-19 to 2022-23. Penalty equal to the revised tax demand applies under Section 74/122(2)(b) of the CGST Act, along with interest. The company plans to appeal with the Commissioner (Appeals) and states there is no material impact on its finances or operations.
Partial relief as demand was cut nearly 50%, but residual tax, penalty and interest still apply. Appeal may prolong resolution; overall impact called immaterial.
