Coromandel Engineering posted Q3 FY26 revenue of Rs. 616.16 lakhs, down about 54% sequentially from Rs. 1,344.30 lakhs in Q2 FY26 and down roughly 7.8% year-on-year from Rs. 668.35 lakhs in Q3 FY25. Net profit for the quarter was a marginal Rs. 4.08 lakhs (vs Rs. 67.24 lakhs in Q3 FY25). For the nine months ended December 2025, the company reported a net loss of Rs. 237.77 lakhs, much wider than the Rs. 65.03 lakh loss in the same period last year, on revenue of Rs. 2,422.55 lakhs (down ~14% YoY). The auditor (CNGSN & Associates LLP) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The board also disclosed that BSE levied a Rs. 5,000 fine (plus GST) for delayed filing of related party transactions for H1 FY26, which has been paid.
Shareholders should note continuing losses and a sharp revenue slump, signalling weak order execution in the construction business. The compliance lapse and BSE penalty, though small in value, point to governance and internal control weaknesses that warrant caution.
