Coromandel Engineering Company Limited's board, at its meeting on 11 February 2026, approved standalone unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 31 December 2025. Q3 FY26 revenue from operations came in at Rs 616.16 lakhs, down from Rs 668.35 lakhs in Q3 FY25, a decline of about 7.8%. Net profit for the quarter was only Rs 4.08 lakhs compared to Rs 67.24 lakhs in the same quarter last year. For the nine months ended December 2025, the company reported a net loss of Rs 65.03 lakhs, though this is a significant improvement from the Rs 237.77 lakhs loss in the corresponding nine-month period of FY25. The statutory auditor CNGSN & Associates LLP issued an unqualified (clean) limited review report on the results. The board also noted a Rs 5,000 fine imposed by BSE for delayed filing of Related Party Transaction disclosures under Regulation 23(9) for the half-year ended September 2025, and advised management to strengthen internal compliance. Additionally, of the Rs 6.61 crore raised via preferential issue in May 2025, only Rs 5.50 lakhs was utilized during the quarter, with the company stating no deviation from the stated objects.
Weak quarterly performance with both revenue and profits falling sharply year-on-year, though the year-to-date loss has narrowed considerably. Shareholders should watch for sustained revenue recovery and note a minor but notable governance lapse around related-party-transaction filing delays.
