On the reaction day the stock moved 0.6 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and in line with its Fertilizers peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Coromandel International has informed the stock exchanges about the Board-approved reclassification of Coromandel Engineering Company Limited (CECL) and Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited (YCAS) from the 'promoter and promoter group' category to the 'public' category. This follows earlier intimations dated August 30, 2025 and September 17, 2025 regarding requests received from these two entities. The Board, at its meeting on September 22, 2025, approved submitting an application to NSE and BSE for obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the reclassification under Regulation 31A of SEBI LODR Regulations. Both entities have undertaken to comply with the conditions specified in Regulation 31A(4) at all times. The reclassification will take effect only after receiving the NOC from both stock exchanges.
Once approved, this reclassification will reduce the effective promoter group shareholding in Coromandel International and shift the two entities into the public shareholding category. This is a procedural change and is not a sale of shares, so there is no direct impact on stock price, but it changes the composition of promoter versus public holding.
