Cosmo Ferrites reported revenue of Rs 9,859 lakhs for FY26, up 15.1% from Rs 8,566 lakhs in FY25. The company significantly narrowed its losses, posting a net loss of Rs 158 lakhs compared to Rs 566 lakhs in the previous year. For Q4 FY26 alone, revenue was Rs 2,719 lakhs with a net profit of Rs 26 lakhs, a turnaround from a Rs 155 lakh loss in Q4 FY25. An exceptional charge of Rs 25 lakhs was recorded due to a one-time increase in employee liability under new Labour Codes. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial results. Promoters waived interest on unsecured loans totaling Rs 232 lakhs conditionally with rights to recompense.
The company is showing operational improvement with revenue growth and loss reduction, though it remains loss-making. The clean audit opinion and promoter support (loan interest waivers) provide some comfort to shareholders. However, the company needs to sustain profitability.
