Cosmo First reported strong full-year results with standalone revenue of Rs 3,355.50 crore, up 22.7% from Rs 2,735.63 crore in the prior year. Net profit grew 20.9% to Rs 106.43 crore from Rs 88.03 crore. Consolidated revenue rose 25.7% to Rs 3,638.72 crore with net profit of Rs 155.98 crore, up 17% year-on-year. The company recommended a dividend of Rs 4 per share (40%). Q4 standalone revenue was Rs 910.99 crore with PAT of Rs 29.97 crore. An exceptional item of Rs 7.20 crore was recorded in consolidated results due to a provision for fraudulent transfers at a Netherlands subsidiary. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion with no qualifications.
The results show healthy revenue growth above 20% with improving profitability. The standalone PAT crossing Rs 100 crore is a positive milestone. However, rising finance costs (up 41.7% YoY to Rs 137 crore standalone) and increased borrowings warrant monitoring. The clean audit opinion and dividend declaration are positives for shareholders.
