Cranex Ltd has reported its audited results for the quarter and full year ended 31 March 2025. Revenue from operations fell to Rs. 5,153.76 lakhs in FY25 from Rs. 6,211.41 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 17%. Total income dropped to Rs. 5,196.36 lakhs from Rs. 6,312.58 lakhs. Despite the revenue fall, net profit (standalone) grew about 28% to roughly Rs. 194.62 lakhs, helped by a sharp drop in raw material costs and overall expenses. Total expenses fell from Rs. 6,095.74 lakhs to Rs. 4,944.81 lakhs. EPS (basic) rose to Rs. 3.21 from Rs. 2.53. The company also converted 5.7 lakh warrants into equity shares at Rs. 102 each during the quarter, boosting equity capital.
Positive bottom-line growth despite weaker top-line signals operational efficiency gains, but the auditor's qualified opinion on asset registers, inventory, and fair-value measurement, along with negative operating cash flow of Rs. 177.88 lakhs, are red flags investors should watch. Shareholders may see short-term optimism on profit growth but should be cautious about governance and cash quality.
