Cranex Ltd reported its Q3 FY26 unaudited results on February 10, 2026. Standalone revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,114.54 lakhs for the quarter, broadly flat versus Rs 1,093.30 lakhs in Q3 FY25; nine-month revenue rose marginally to Rs 3,346.35 lakhs from Rs 3,308.18 lakhs. Standalone net profit for the quarter jumped sharply to Rs 32.40 lakhs from Rs 8.94 lakhs a year ago, taking 9M FY26 PAT to Rs 122.98 lakhs (vs Rs 98.98 lakhs). Total expenses were kept under control with a marginal reduction in cost of materials. However, the statutory auditor V.R. Bansal & Associates issued a Qualified Opinion on both Standalone and Consolidated results, flagging non-production of PPE and inventory registers, reliance on management-certified figures, unconfirmed trade receivables/payables, and non-compliance with Ind AS 109 (ECL/fair value) on receivables and borrowings from associate IFE Cranex. The consolidated results also flagged non-accounting for a joint venture entered in September 2021.
The qualified auditor opinion with multiple reservation areas related to asset verification, related-party fair valuation and joint venture accounting is a negative governance signal that retail investors should weigh carefully, even though headline profitability improved sharply year-on-year.
