Cravatex Ltd reported its audited results for FY25. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations jumped to Rs.479.59 lakhs (from Rs.187.11 lakhs, up ~156%), driven mostly by other income (rent, dividends) of Rs.953.07 lakhs, lifting total income to Rs.1,432.66 lakhs. Standalone profit after tax rose ~37% to Rs.486.31 lakhs (vs Rs.353.81 lakhs), with EPS at Rs.18.82 (vs Rs.13.69). On a consolidated basis (which includes BB UK Ltd and BB Europe GmbH), revenue from operations actually declined ~14% to Rs.17,376.41 lakhs (from Rs.20,263.23 lakhs), and consolidated PAT was nearly flat at Rs.482.84 lakhs. The Board has recommended a dividend of Rs.12.50 per share (125%) on the Rs.10 face value shares. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both sets of results.
Positive for shareholders due to a generous 125% dividend and clean audit. However, the consolidated topline has shrunk and standalone operating cash flow remains negative (Rs.-338.70 lakhs vs Rs.-245.86 lakhs last year), indicating the core business is heavily reliant on dividends and rental income from subsidiaries rather than healthy day-to-day operations.
