Credent Global Finance Ltd, a BSE-listed NBFC, has successfully completed a ₹30 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) to strengthen its growth capital. Socradamus Capital acted as the sole book-running lead manager. The company also reported strong Q3FY26 results with revenue from operations of ₹25.74 crore (up 775% YoY from ₹2.94 crore) and profit after tax of ₹18.02 crore (up 3,773% from ₹0.47 crore in Q3FY25). Credent mentioned increased exposure to an Eastern India-based microfinance institution as part of its counter-cyclical investment strategy. Additionally, Vikas Kataria has been appointed as Executive Director to strengthen the leadership team.
The ₹30 crore equity raise boosts Credent's capital base to support lending growth and strategic investments, while the strong Q3 numbers and institutional investor participation may boost short-term investor sentiment. Existing shareholders should note potential equity dilution from the new share issuance.
