CreditAccess Grameen reported Q1 FY27 standalone revenue of Rs 1,783 crore, up about 22 percent YoY from Rs 1,463 crore. PAT surged to Rs 493 crore from Rs 60 crore last year, helped by sharply lower impairment costs. EPS stood at Rs 30.79. Board also approved raising up to Rs 3,000 crore via NCDs (Rs 2,000 cr public issue and Rs 1,000 cr private placement).
Strong YoY profit growth and lower credit costs point to improving asset quality. NCD raise of Rs 3,000 cr will expand lending capacity but adds to leverage.
