Crizac Limited, an educational consultancy firm, posted its first quarterly results as a newly listed company for Q1 FY26. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 29% year-on-year to Rs. 208.54 crore from Rs. 161.36 crore, while consolidated net profit rose about 10% to Rs. 45.81 crore. On a standalone basis, revenue jumped nearly 48% YoY to Rs. 66.67 crore and net profit rose 44% to Rs. 41.04 crore. Other expenses on the consolidated side included a one-off loss of Rs. 4.40 crore from forward contracts, which partly muted the profit growth. The company completed its IPO on July 9, 2025, raising Rs. 860 crore through an offer for sale, and is now listed on both NSE and BSE. The statutory auditor, Singhi & Co., issued an unmodified limited review report.
Strong top-line growth on both consolidated and standalone bases is a positive signal, but the muted consolidated profit growth and the sizeable one-off forward contract loss in other expenses may limit near-term earnings excitement. As this is the company's first reported quarter post-IPO, investors will likely focus on whether revenue momentum sustains in subsequent quarters.
