Cummins India reported Q1 FY27 (quarter ended June 30, 2026) total sales of Rs 3,375 Cr, up 18% YoY and 14% QoQ. Domestic sales grew 22% YoY to Rs 2,854 Cr while exports were flat YoY at Rs 521 Cr. Profit before tax (before exceptional items) was Rs 721 Cr with margin of 21.4%, down 0.7% YoY and 12% QoQ. PAT stood at Rs 543 Cr with net margin of 16.1%. MD cited higher commodity costs and inflation as margin headwinds despite robust domestic demand.
Strong domestic revenue growth is positive, but margin compression from commodity inflation may weigh on near-term sentiment.
