D. P. Abhushan Limited, a gems and jewellery retailer based in Ratlam (M.P.), reported strong Q2 FY26 results. Revenue from operations rose to about ₹1,50,802 lakhs, up roughly 45% from ₹1,03,816 lakhs in Q2 FY25. Profit after tax jumped to about ₹5,146 lakhs (₹3,642 lakhs in Q2 FY25), a growth of around 41%. For the half-year ended September 30, 2025, profit after tax stood at ₹8,788 lakhs versus ₹5,021 lakhs in H1 FY25, a 75% jump. Basic EPS for Q2 came in at ₹22.57 and diluted EPS at ₹22.56. Total assets expanded to ₹97,750 lakhs as inventory levels rose to ₹85,551 lakhs, and current borrowings increased to ₹20,520 lakhs. The statutory auditors (Jeevan Jagetiya & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Strong double-digit topline growth and even sharper profit growth suggest robust festive-season demand and better operating leverage for the jewellery retailer, which is likely to be viewed positively by investors. The higher inventory and borrowings point to scaling-up for the wedding and festive season rather than any stress signal.
