D P Wires Limited reported a sharp decline in full-year performance for FY25. Revenue from operations fell to ₹62,024.90 lakhs from ₹1,00,225.60 lakhs in FY24, a drop of about 38%. Profit after tax declined to ₹2,220.49 lakhs from ₹3,631.60 lakhs, down roughly 39%. The plastics division was the worst hit, with segment revenue collapsing from ₹46,473.56 lakhs to ₹18,797.89 lakhs (about 60% decline), while the wire division also fell from ₹53,683.87 lakhs to ₹43,212.04 lakhs. Despite the profit fall, operating cash flow improved to ₹5,178.25 lakhs versus ₹2,356.41 lakhs last year. The statutory auditor issued an unqualified (clean) opinion with no qualifications or modifications.
Negative for shareholders — top-line and bottom-line both shrank sharply year-on-year, driven mainly by a steep fall in the plastics segment. However, the company remained profitable, earned better operating cash, and got a clean audit report, which limits broader governance concerns.
