On the reaction day the stock moved 0.1 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.4 pts less than its Personal Care peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

US FDA has issued a warning letter to Dabur on July 24, 2026 for its Silvassa plant, following an Import Alert 66-40 issued on June 10, 2026 over data integrity and maintenance lapses. The issue affects only a small part of the plant tied to export of private label products, which is not a major revenue source. Domestic products and operations remain fully unaffected and the plant continues to run for the local market. Dabur says it has already completed major remediation, engaged a US compliance consulting firm, and is putting alternate sourcing plans in place for US customers.
Limited financial hit expected as warning covers only a small private-label export line; domestic business unaffected. Short-term sentiment risk remains.
