On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.4 pts more than its Personal Care peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Dabur clarified to stock exchanges after shares fell 2.42 percent on news that FSSAI issued a prohibitory order dated Aug 3, 2026 banning 100 percent Pure claims on some product labels including coconut water. An earlier FSSAI notice on the same issue was issued on Apr 8, 2026. Dabur says the label claims comply with law, product quality and safety are not questioned, and impact is limited to objected food products only. Labels are being transitioned without the 100 percent claim, and the company is seeking legal advice.
Short-term stock pressure from regulatory action; business impact confined to relabelling of specific food products, no quality concerns flagged.
