On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.0 pts more than its Personal Care peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Following its August 6, 2025 disclosure, Dabur reported that a September 17 income-tax order reduced the disputed demand from Rs. 279.13 crore to Rs. 202.01 crore. The company says the revised amount is also wrongly calculated and will seek correction under Section 154 using its records. It expects no financial impact from the order.
No immediate financial impact is expected, but the Rs. 202.01 crore demand remains disputed until correction proceedings conclude.
