Dalal Street Investments reported a net loss of Rs. 18.17 lakhs in Q3 FY26, compared to a profit of Rs. 28.37 lakhs in the previous quarter and Rs. 12.56 lakhs in Q3 FY25. Revenue from operations for the quarter was nil, down sharply from Rs. 45.51 lakhs in Q2 FY26. For the nine months ended December 2025, total revenue fell to Rs. 62.24 lakhs from Rs. 130.82 lakhs in the same period last year, and the company slipped into a net loss of Rs. 13.89 lakhs versus a profit of Rs. 55.12 lakhs a year ago. Other comprehensive income also showed a loss of Rs. 18.34 lakhs on fair value of investments. Debt was reduced to Rs. 129.03 lakhs from Rs. 310.77 lakhs, bringing the debt-equity ratio down to 0.28. The statutory auditor (Karia & Shah) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
The sharp swing to a quarterly loss and the steep drop in revenue compared to both the prior quarter and the year-ago period are negative for the stock, though the reduction in debt and clean auditor opinion provide some comfort. Shareholders should watch for signs of revenue recovery in the coming quarters.
