Q2 FY27 revenue rose 4 percent year on year to Rs3,563 crore; volume rose 3 percent to 7.1 million tonnes but fell 7 percent from Q1. Higher input and fuel costs and weak demand cut EBITDA 29 percent to Rs493 crore. Rs205 crore net loss followed Rs339 crore one-time charges, including Rs282 crore asset write-down and Rs57 crore staff separation. H1: revenue Rs7,453 crore, EBITDA Rs1,298 crore. Net debt: Rs1,428 crore, or 2.0 times EBITDA.
One-time charges drove the loss, but cost inflation, weak demand and higher debt may pressure earnings and the stock.
