DAM Capital Advisors reported a challenging FY26 with Total Income declining 5.2% year-on-year to INR 237 crore, driven by a muted capital markets environment due to global tariff concerns, geopolitical tensions, and low IPO activity. Q4 FY26 was particularly weak with Total Income at INR 29 crore (down 20.1% y-o-y) and PAT at just INR 0.2 crore (down 97.1% y-o-y). For the full year, PAT fell 30% to INR 73 crore while PAT margin compressed from 41.5% to 30.65%. Despite the slowdown, the company executed 18 ECM transactions raising over INR 19,000 crore and holds a strong pipeline of 25 IPO mandates. Net cash position improved to INR 311 crore from INR 242 crore. The Board recommended a dividend of Re 1 per share.
The steep decline in Q4 profitability and reduced margins indicate near-term headwinds from weak capital markets activity, though the strong cash position and robust deal pipeline provide some resilience for shareholders.
