Daulat Securities, a Kolkata-based share broking and depository services firm, reported its unaudited Q3 FY26 results. For the quarter ended 31 Dec 2025, the company posted total income of Rs 21.78 lakh and a profit after tax of Rs 3.22 lakh (EPS Rs 0.06), swinging back to profit after a Rs 77.62 lakh loss in the preceding quarter. However, on a year-to-date (9-month) basis, total income fell sharply to Rs 198.42 lakh from Rs 448.93 lakh in the same period last year, with profit after tax dropping to Rs 116.55 lakh from Rs 355.66 lakh — a roughly 55-67% YoY decline. The statutory auditor (Shakti Achal & Partner) conducted a limited review and issued an unmodified report. Results are highly dependent on capital market activity and are not indicative of full-year performance.
Sharp YoY decline in both revenue and profit is a concern for shareholders and reflects weak capital market activity affecting broking income. However, the quarter-on-quarter return to profitability offers some relief. Volatile, market-linked earnings suggest the stock may remain sensitive to trading volumes.
