DCM Nouvelle reported Q3 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 26,921 lakhs, up 2.3% YoY, but posted a loss of Rs 3,390 lakhs against Rs 221 lakhs profit a year ago. The loss was driven by exceptional items of Rs 3,747 lakhs, mainly a Rs 3,561 lakhs impairment of investment in subsidiary DCM Nouvelle Specialty Chemicals plus Rs 186 lakhs impact of new Labour Codes. 9M FY26 standalone PAT swung to a Rs 2,573 lakhs loss from Rs 1,553 lakhs profit. Consolidated Q3 loss was Rs 151 lakhs. Auditor Walker Chandiok gave an unmodified review report.
Big subsidiary impairment wiped out quarterly profit and turned 9M PAT negative. Core textile margins remain thin; recovery hinges on chemicals turnaround.
