Q2 FY27 revenue rose 21% year on year to ₹4,150.79 crore, but profit after tax fell 34% to ₹104.60 crore. Operating earnings fell to ₹318.82 crore from ₹407.93 crore despite higher sales. Half-year profit rose to ₹796.77 crore from ₹272.54 crore, aided by one-off gains and tax reversals. The board declared a ₹4 per share interim dividend totalling ₹62.38 crore; record date 30 Oct 2026. It approved about ₹375 crore of expansion spending.
The dividend supports shareholder income, but weaker Q2 profit and margins may weigh on the stock. Expansion spending may aid growth but use more cash.
