DCM Limited has informed the exchanges that it received a notice dated March 18, 2026 from GCD Prime (the developer) invoking arbitration under Section 21 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. This relates to a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) signed on August 11, 2022, for developing an affordable residential plotted colony on DCM's 67.275-acre land in Hisar, Haryana under the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojna (DDJAY). DCM had earlier (November 1, 2025) terminated the JDA and forfeited the developer's payments due to inordinate delays and the developer's failure to get the Haryana Government's suspension order on the project license revoked. GCD Prime has now challenged this by invoking arbitration. The financial impact and quantum of claims are not determinable at this stage.
This is the formal start of arbitration proceedings between DCM and its developer, with no immediate financial impact disclosed. Shareholders should note that the outcome remains uncertain and any potential monetary impact cannot be estimated yet, which may keep some short-term uncertainty around the stock.
