DCW Limited's Board, at its May 12, 2025 meeting, approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025, and recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.10 per equity share (5%) on shares of Rs. 2 face value, subject to shareholder approval. For FY25, revenue from operations rose to Rs. 2,00,034 lakhs from Rs. 1,87,159 lakhs, while net profit nearly doubled to Rs. 3,028 lakhs from Rs. 1,566 lakhs, with EPS at Rs. 1.03 vs Rs. 0.53. Q4 numbers, however, were weaker with revenue at Rs. 53,791 lakhs (vs Rs. 62,169 lakhs) and net profit at Rs. 1,138 lakhs (vs Rs. 1,533 lakhs). The Board also re-appointed internal and cost auditors for FY26, and the statutory auditor issued an unmodified opinion. The company continues to face pending tax, customs, electricity, and land-related disputes, and a scheme of amalgamation with two group entities remains under approval.
The final dividend is modest (Rs. 0.10 per share) and unlikely to be a major catalyst. Strong full-year profit growth driven by the Speciality Chemicals segment is a positive, but the Q4 sequential and YoY decline in revenue and profit may temper near-term sentiment. Pending litigation and amalgamation approvals remain overhangs to monitor.
