DCW Q1 FY27 revenue from operations rose 14% to Rs 54,191 lakhs (vs Rs 47,550 lakhs a year ago). Profit before tax fell sharply to Rs 36 lakhs from Rs 1,767 lakhs. Net profit was Rs 1,029 lakhs (vs Rs 1,139 lakhs), lifted by a one-time Rs 3,428 lakh deferred tax gain from shifting to the new concessional tax regime. Auditor issued an unmodified opinion with an emphasis of matter on pending tax, customs and land disputes. Board also elevated COO Sudarshan Ganapathy to CEO.
Weak operational quarter despite revenue growth; tax gain masks underlying margin pressure. Pending disputes remain a risk overhang.
