Deccan Gold Mines has finalized the terms of its rights issue, first approved by the Board on November 8, 2025. The company will issue up to 3.93 crore equity shares at Rs. 80 per share (including Rs. 79 premium), raising up to Rs. 314.70 crore. Shareholders on the record date of December 9, 2025 will be eligible to subscribe in the ratio of 150 rights shares for every 601 shares held. The issue opens on December 17, 2025 and closes on December 26, 2025. Post-issue, the total share count will rise from about 15.76 crore to 19.70 crore shares, assuming full subscription. Shareholders can renounce their rights entitlements on-market (till Dec 22) or off-market before the closing date, and unused entitlements will lapse.
Eligible shareholders will need to decide whether to invest more capital or let entitlements lapse. Successful completion will significantly dilute existing shareholding (around 25% increase in share count) and raise fresh funds of about Rs. 315 crore for the company. The stock may see some short-term pressure around the ex-rights date and during the renunciation trading window.
