Deco Mica Ltd reported a slight decline in top line and a sharper drop in profit for FY25. Revenue from operations fell to Rs. 7,606.30 lakhs from Rs. 7,727.18 lakhs (down about 1.6%), while net profit declined to Rs. 194.80 lakhs from Rs. 230.98 lakhs (down about 15.7%). EPS slipped to Rs. 4.64 from Rs. 5.50. Q4 was notably weak, with revenue falling roughly 17% and PAT nearly halving to Rs. 86.96 lakhs versus Rs. 166.19 lakhs a year earlier. On the positive side, operating cash flow improved sharply to Rs. 469.59 lakhs from Rs. 72.72 lakhs, aided by better working capital management. Total assets grew to Rs. 7,919.56 lakhs and equity rose to Rs. 2,692.30 lakhs, while total borrowings stood around Rs. 1,952 lakhs. Statutory auditor J.T. Shah & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Shareholders see a year of weaker earnings with declining revenue and a 15% drop in PAT, which may weigh on sentiment. However, the clean audit opinion, zero defaults, nil exceptional items, and sharply improved operating cash flow offer some comfort on financial health.
