Deepak Chem Tech, Deepak Nitrite's wholly owned subsidiary, issued 4.8 million 9% optionally convertible redeemable preference shares to fellow subsidiary Deepak Phenotics. Issued at face value, the shares raised Rs 48 crore to strengthen capital, fund projects and meet general corporate needs. DCTL operates a fluorination plant and is pursuing projects in Gujarat; FY25 turnover was Rs 9.43 crore, up from Rs 0.86 crore in FY24. The funding is internal to the group, and ultimate control is unchanged.
Ultimate ownership is unchanged. The funds may support subsidiary projects, while the 9% preference dividend is an internal group obligation.
