Deepak Nitrite has disclosed that the Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner in Bharuch passed two orders on 5th August 2025, received by the company on 6th August 2025, related to delayed remittance of Provident Fund contributions between March 2013 and April 2025. The orders include an interest demand of ₹3,04,324 under Section 7Q and damages of ₹5,32,372 under Section 14B of the EPF Act, totalling approximately ₹8.36 lakh. The company has already deposited both amounts with the authorities. The company has stated that there is no material financial impact beyond these amounts.
This is a routine EPF compliance matter with a very small monetary impact (under ₹10 lakh) that has already been paid, and is unlikely to affect the stock price or shareholders materially.
