Delta Corp Limited reported standalone revenue of Rs 499.97 crore for FY26, down 13% from Rs 574.64 crore in FY25. Gaming operations revenue declined from Rs 521.91 crore to Rs 452.36 crore. Profit after tax fell significantly to Rs 118.21 crore from Rs 185.31 crore in the previous year, a decline of about 36%. The auditors issued two 'Emphasis of Matter' notes: one regarding GST show cause notices aggregating Rs 24,959.69 crore against the company and subsidiaries, and another regarding Rs 378.34 crore reduction in fair value of online gaming investments due to the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. An exceptional item of Rs 3.89 crore was recorded for new labour code implementation costs. The board recommended a 50% dividend (Rs 0.50 per share) and proposed changing auditors from Walker Chandiok & Co LLP to M S K C & Associates LLP.
The company faces significant headwinds with declining revenues and profits, massive contingent GST liabilities, and regulatory disruption from the online gaming ban affecting its investment portfolio. The stock may remain under pressure due to these material uncertainties and profit decline.
