Delton Cables reported strong FY25 results with revenue from operations nearly doubling to Rs. 70,926.41 lakhs (from Rs. 40,085.97 lakhs in FY24), a growth of about 77%. Net profit rose roughly 40% to Rs. 2,051 lakhs (from Rs. 1,465.65 lakhs), lifting EPS to Rs. 23.74. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2 per share (20%) subject to shareholder approval. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion, with a minor emphasis of matter noting one unsatisfied charge of Rs. 30 lakhs pending with the Registrar of Companies. The Board approved the re-appointment of the Chairman, MD & CEO, and an Independent Director for fresh 5-year terms, accepted the CFO's resignation and appointed a new CFO, and sought shareholder approval to raise borrowing powers and disposal limits to Rs. 500 crores each.
Strong top-line growth and higher dividend are positives for shareholders, but rising finance costs, growing debt (total borrowings around Rs. 17,139 lakhs against equity of Rs. 9,045 lakhs), and continued negative operating cash flow of Rs. (1,402) lakhs suggest the company is funding growth largely through borrowings, which investors should watch closely.
