Desco Infratech reported audited results for FY25 with revenue from operations nearly doubling to ₹5,944.71 lakhs from ₹2,939.31 lakhs in FY24. Net profit surged to ₹905.71 lakhs from ₹332.14 lakhs, with EPS rising to ₹16.05 from ₹6.68. The second half (H2 FY25) was particularly strong, with revenue of ₹3,681.25 lakhs versus ₹2,263.45 lakhs in H1 FY25 and net profit of ₹580.77 lakhs versus ₹324.94 lakhs. The company had just listed on BSE SME on April 1, 2025, after raising ₹30.75 crore via an IPO of 20.5 lakh equity shares at ₹150 each. The statutory auditor (K A Sanghavi & Co LLP) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no emphasis of matter, and cash and cash equivalents jumped to ₹3,117.49 lakhs from ₹35.17 lakhs largely due to IPO proceeds.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth in the first reported year as a listed entity is positive for shareholders. The clean audit opinion and strong cash position post-IPO support near-term financial stability, though investors should watch how the newly raised funds are deployed for working capital, capex, and corporate purposes.
