Desh Rakshak Aushdhalaya Ltd, an Ayurvedic and herbal products maker based in Haridwar, has announced that its board approved on May 5, 2025 a proposal to raise funds via a preferential issue of 12,60,000 equity shares. Each share has a face value of Rs. 10 and will be issued at Rs. 22 per share, which includes a premium of Rs. 12. The total amount the company aims to raise is approximately Rs. 2.77 crore. The shares are proposed to be allotted to four non-promoter individual investors: Navneet Chaturvedi, Ruchika Chaturvedi, Victoria Rao Pippal, and Rashmi Kumari. The preferential issue is subject to approval from shareholders and other regulatory clearances, and the company will also seek in-principle approval from BSE.
For existing shareholders, this issuance will dilute their shareholding since 12.6 lakh new shares are being issued to non-promoter investors. The Rs. 2.77 crore fund raise is relatively small for the company's growth needs, and the stock may see short-term pressure depending on market sentiment toward dilution.
