Dhanlaxmi Bank reported Q2 FY26 unaudited results with total income of Rs 41,816 lakh, up from Rs 38,064 lakh YoY. Interest income grew 16.7 percent to Rs 38,361 lakh. However, higher provisions (Rs 499 lakh versus Rs 57 lakh) led to a sharp drop in net profit. Operating profit before provisions fell to Rs 2,819 lakh from Rs 3,313 lakh. On the bright side, gross NPA improved to 4.48 percent and net NPA to 1.12 percent. CRAR remained healthy at 17.81 percent with provision coverage at 86.94 percent.
Higher provisions and rising costs hurt quarterly profit despite better asset quality and strong capital. Mixed near-term outlook for shareholders.
