Dhunseri Tea Q1 FY27: PAT jumps on lower base, revenue dips

Dhunseri Tea reported Q1 FY27 results ended June 30, 2026. Standalone revenue fell to Rs. 5,174 lakhs from Rs. 7,243 lakhs YoY, but PAT jumped to Rs. 150.52 lakhs from Rs. 46 lakhs. Consolidated revenue declined to Rs. 8,513 lakhs from Rs. 11,991 lakhs, while PAT swung to a Rs. 139 lakhs profit from a Rs. 339 lakhs loss. Auditor S.R. Batliboi issued an unmodified limited review. Prior quarters had exceptional gains from sale of Balijan and Deohall tea estates.
Mixed picture: revenue dropped sharply but bottom line improved on lower base and cost control. Tea business is seasonal, so quarterly results are not annualised.
