Dhunseri Ventures Limited's Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.50 per equity share (15% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval at the 110th AGM on 19th August 2026. The record date for dividend eligibility is 11th August 2026, with payment to be made on or after 21st August 2026. The company's standalone financials show a net loss of Rs. 8,712.50 lakhs for FY 2025-26, significantly down from a profit of Rs. 6,081.52 lakhs in the previous year, primarily due to an impairment loss on investments in Twelve Cupcakes Pte Limited. Consolidated net profit stood at Rs. 2,435.51 lakhs compared to Rs. 14,297.46 lakhs in FY 2024-25. The Board also approved re-appointment of Mrs. Aruna Dhanuka as Managing Director and Mr. Sameer Sah as Independent Director, and provided a corporate guarantee for credit facilities of its wholly-owned subsidiary Dhunseri Poly Films Private Limited.
The dividend represents a reduction from Rs. 2.50 per share paid last year, reflecting the company's significantly lower profitability. Despite the loss at standalone level, the board's decision to maintain dividend payouts signals confidence, though the reduced amount may concern income-focused investors.
