On the reaction day the stock moved 1.3 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.5 pts more than its Other Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

NSE asked Diamond Power for clarification on its Q4 FY26 financial results because the Statement of Impact of Audit Qualifications was submitted without the MD or CEO signature. The company replied that its Whole-time Director and CFO, Mr Samir Naik, resigned on May 25, 2026, leaving the post vacant. The Chairman, Mr Maheswar Sahu, signed the statement in his place. The company says this complies with SEBI rules and is actively searching to fill the vacancy within three months.
Procedural compliance matter, no penalty imposed. WTD and CFO resignation may raise governance concerns. New CEO or WTD search is underway.
